End of the 2025 Community Garden Season: Another Great Success for Groupe TYT!

The Groupe TYT community garden is an initiative that perfectly illustrates the company’s commitment to the well-being of its employees as well as its environmental responsibility. 

Located directly on the company’s site in Drummondville, this unique garden offers staff members a valuable opportunity to enjoy fresh and healthy food. Each week, the harvested vegetables are distributed to employees at each terminal, promoting local and quality food while strengthening the sense of belonging to the TYT family.

Since its creation, this garden has quickly met with great success and has managed to bring employees together: drivers, technicians, administrative staff, managers… Everyone gathers around this shared activity, enthusiastically getting their hands dirty. This project is not limited to simply growing vegetables; it also encourages the exchange of advice and know-how, creating genuine moments of conviviality and sharing. In addition to developing gardening skills, this initiative helps reduce grocery costs, promotes healthier eating, and strengthens social bonds among colleagues.

The community garden is part of a broader sustainable development approach. By encouraging the consumption of locally produced food, it contributes significantly to reducing the company’s ecological footprint while raising participants’ awareness of current environmental issues. The 2025 season has just ended, and it was once again crowned with success thanks to the active and regular participation of employees. This project thus perfectly embodies the values of solidarity, collaboration, and well-being that lie at the heart of Groupe TYT’s culture.

Building on this success, Groupe TYT plans to further develop its community garden. New workshops will be offered, and partnerships with local stakeholders will be strengthened to provide employees with an ever more enriching and sustainable experience.
