What we offer:

The VP Finance is responsible for planning, coordinating, and strategically managing all of the organization's financial activities. He/she ensures the sound management of financial resources while supporting strategic decision-making and the achievement of organizational objectives in terms of performance, growth, and compliance.

Here's what you'll do:

Management

  • Provide leadership to the accounting team by promoting collaboration and alignment with corporate strategies.
  • Support management by advising on the financial impact of decisions with the goal of optimizing performance.
  • Evaluate the performance of the finance department and its employees;
  • Ensure clear and motivating communication while supporting change within the finance department;
  • Initiate and lead projects to improve, innovate, and transform financial and operational practices.

Financing

  • Manage banking relationships: terms and conditions, fees, services, signatory matrix, account opening/closing cycle, etc.;
  • In collaboration with management, lead analyses for financing, acquisitions, or any other large-scale projects;
  • Support directors in their projects and manage any related grants.

Management, financial management analysis, and financial risk governance

  • Take charge of investment project analysis;
  • Maintain relationships with external accountants;
  • Ensure governance of our accounts receivable collection processes;
  • Perform various financial analyses to support management;
  • Follow up on month-end closings;
  • Oversee the management of commercial agreements, rate structures, and customer profitability, in collaboration with the sales and operations teams.

Cash management

  • Manage our companies' cash flow and establish strategies;
  • Ensure a healthy cash position and optimize the use of facilities to guarantee liquidity.

Governance & control

  • Draft, implement, and maintain cash management policies: investments, hedging, bank account management, controls, and fraud/cyber payments;
  • Work closely with management to ensure compliance in all aspects of our companies' finance, accounting, and taxation.

Compliance & reporting

  • Monitor ratios on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with financial covenants and recommend actions to preserve financial flexibility.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field;
  • CPA and/or CFA professional designation required;
  • Extensive experience in business acquisition and financing;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in team management, cash management, and financial planning;
  • Excellent understanding of banking products and cash management instruments;
  • Strong analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency with technological tools (advanced Excel, ERP, etc.);
  • Good judgment, keen political sense, and a collaborative approach;
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Bilingualism in French and English is essential in order to communicate with our partners.

Your schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • 40-hour week
